This week’s newsletter is coming to you a couple days early for two reasons:
- Pretty much every Black Friday streaming deal we’ve been waiting for is here already.
- I’d rather not work on Friday if possible.
I’m going to keep this short and deal-focused, and we’ll catch up on the usual news topics next week. A quick rundown:
- Hulu: $1 per month for a year, or $3 per month for a bundle with Disney+. Ad-supported plans only. You can also add Starz for an extra $1 per month for a year.
- Peacock: $20 for a year, or $2 per month for six months. You can also use the code REALDEAL to save on an ad-free annual plan, or REALDEALMONTHLY to save on an ad-free monthly plan.
- Max: Six months for $3 per month.
- NFL Sunday Ticket: $89 for the remaining season.
- Paramount+: Two months ad-free with Showtime for $3 per month. (For ad-supported plans, 3MOESSENTIALCS still gets you three months free.)
- Plex Pass: Lifetime subscription for $90 with code FANSFIRST25. Read more about Plex Pass here.
- Frndly TV: One year of Premium for $99.
- Amazon Prime Video Channels: Various add-ons are on sale for Black Friday, including Britbox ($2.25 per month for two-months), Discovery+ ($2.25 per month for two months), and MGM+ ($1.75 per month for two-months). See all the deals here.
- Roku Premium Subscriptions: Various subscriptions are on sale for Black Friday, including $1 per month for two months of Acorn, AMC+, MGM+; $2 per month for two months of Hallmark+ or Lifetime Movie Club; three free months of Apple TV+, and more. See the full deal list here.
- Roku device deals: Express 4K+ for $24, Streaming Stick 4K for $29, Ultra for $80.
- Fire TV device deals: Fire TV Stick HD for $18, Fire TV Stick 4K for $22, Fire TV Stick 4K Max for $33, and Fire TV Cube for $100.
Most of these deals are for new or returning subscribers, meaning you cannot activate them on an existing subscription. If you’re already subscribed, consider signing up for a new account with a secondary or masked email address, then cancel your original subscription.
As always, I keep a full list of streaming deals—Black Friday and otherwise—on the Cord Cutter Weekly website. I’ll keep that page up to date if any new deals arise later in the week.
Interested in more tech deals? I’ve got a big list of sales on TVs, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, and more—plus some pointers for navigating Black Friday in general—on my Advisorator website. (And yes, I’ve got a little sale going on Advisorator subscriptions for the next few days as well.)
That’s all for now! Have an enjoyable Thanksgiving, and catch you next week.
