Black Friday streaming deals

Alright folks, just like last year, I’m sending out an early edition of Cord Cutter Weekly with all the streaming deals that I can find. By now, every streamer that had a deal last year has announced its deals for this year (with one notable exception), and most of these deals are available from now through the weekend.
There will be no newsletter on Friday, as I’ll be mostly trying to avoid work that day. We’ll play catch-up on the news next week. Now, onto the deals:
This section of the newsletter has some affiliate links, which earn me a commission if you wind up buying or subscribing to something.
Streaming services:
- Disney+ and Hulu bundle: $5 per month (with ads) or $15 per month (no ads) for 12 months. (Certain AmEx cards can make the cost $0.)
- Paramount+: $3 per month (ad-free or with ads) for two months.
- HBO Max: $3 per month (with ads) for 12 months.
- Walmart+: Half-off for a year. This includes either Paramount+ or Peacock (and you can switch every three months).
- Apple TV: $6 per month for six months.
- NFL Sunday Ticket: $48 for the remaining season for new users, or $62 for former subscribers. (Will be auto-billed next season if you don’t cancel.)
- Fox One: $10 per month for two months or $150 for one year. Available Nov. 27 to Dec. 1.
- Starz: $12 for one year.
- Sling TV Orange: Get a day pass for $1.
- Britbox: $3 per month for two months.
- Frndly TV: $1 per month for three months or $99 for a year of Premium Annual. Offer ends Dec. 1.
- Hallmark+: $1 per month for three months with code BF3MO, $40 for one year with BF50.
- Fox Nation: $36 for one year. Ends Jan 4.
- Fox One and Fox Nation: $20 per month for six months or $200 for one year. Ends Jan. 4.
- Big Ten Plus: $3 per month for three months or $70 for one year. Offer available Nov. 28 to Dec. 1.
- Howdy: $1 per month for two months. (Discount appears after sign-in.)
- Roku Premium Subscriptions: Similar to the Amazon deals below. See this pageor check your Roku device.
- Spectrum TV Select: $100 per month for a year. (Includes the Disney bundle, HBO Max, Paramount+, Peacock, AMC+, and Vix—all with ads.)
- Spotify: Four months free for new subscribers.
What about Peacock? I don’t know. In 2024, Peacock had announced a deal by now, but this year we’ve got nothing except the $15 per month bundle with Apple TV that launched last month. (That deal is available anytime, not just Black Friday.) I’ll keep an eye out and will update my big list of streaming deals page if anything arises, but I don’t feel like holding up this newsletter any longer just for Comcast’s sake.
Streaming/OTA devices:
- Roku devices: Streaming Stick HD for $15, Streaming Stick Plus for $19, Streaming Stick 4K for $25, Ultra for $69, Streambar SE for $75.
- Fire TV devices: Fire TV Stick HD for $18, Fire TV Stick Plus for $25, Fire TV Stick 4K Max for $35, Fire TV Cube for $90.
- Apple TV 4K: $99 for the ethernet model at Costco.
- Google TV Streamer for $75.
- Tablo over-the-air DVR: Dual tuner for $70, quad tuner for $110.
- Zapperbox M1 over-the-air DVR: Dual-tuner for $250, single-tuner for $180, Mini extender for $125.
Amazon Prime Video Channels subscriptions:
- AcornTV: $2.25 per month for two months
- All Reality: $1.25 per month for two months
- AMC+: $1.75 per month (with ads) or $2.50 per month (no ads) for two months
